I loved this movie, it made me fall into it immediately as a whole
Line of Events
In the Norwegian wilderness, a family strives for a wild, free existence, but a tragic turn of events shatters their isolation, forcing them to adapt to the demands of modern society.
, because of the unusual documentary form it takes (partly autobiographical and biographical)
The freedom from the dogmatic styles of documentary is itself a reflection of the free personalities of this story.
The underplayed sense of humor between the Norwegians and the Brits comes together perfectly and convincingly in this existential questioning of life's choices and values
The main character (narrator) undoubtedly has a lot of artistic sense and integrity, so strong that it was possible for the instructor to extrapolate the whole and details of this film from a source that was already there.
It is true art how this film manages to be light and dark, life-affirming and sad, humble and humbling, personal and yet so universal
It is a fantastic portrait of childhood and the growth of the human personality, which continues to reveal how we learn and how we belong.
